Sickness absence support
Case Management
Structured occupational health support for absence, rehabilitation and return-to-work planning.
Case Management assessments are used in sickness absence, restricted activity, rehabilitation and work-related illness or injury, with the aim of supporting safe and appropriate return to work or maintenance in work.
What the service covers
Case management focused on removing barriers and supporting recovery.
Case Management assessments
The service is designed to help identify obstacles, develop practical actions and support a safe return to work.
Assessments are undertaken by occupational health nurses and doctors who identify the issues that have led to occupational ill health, develop actions to resolve them and remove barriers that prevent successful return to work.
The primary goal is to return the individual to maximal functional capacity, maximal medical recovery and ultimately a return to health.
